Tax Preparer
AlternaDev, a local tax consulting firm that prepares tax returns for telecommunications companies, has an immediate opportunity for a full time, entry level tax return preparer, Monday through Friday at our Naperville office.
The person selected for the position will be responsible for processing our client's tax liabilities, including telecommunication and sales taxes.
Responsibilities Include:
Preparing tax returns on out web based AlternaTax software
Balancing client data to prepared tax returns
Preparing internal check and EFT requests
Corresponding with state and local jurisdictions regarding client accounts
Preparing client funding requests.
Required Skills:
One to two years experience in general accounting
Sales and use tax experience helpful, not required
Will train on sales, use tax and AlternaTax software
Microsoft Office experience including Microsoft Access, Excel and Word
Effective oral and written Communication skills
Team work
Reliable transportation/good attendance record
Independent decision making skills
