SQL Access Database Developer
AlternaDev, LLC is a local software development company that creates and maintains tax preparation software for telecommunications companies. We have an immediate opportunity for a full time SQL/Access database developer, Monday through Friday at our Naperville office.
The person selected for the position will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining client database procedures.
Responsibilities Include:
Generate reports and procedures to analyze client data.
Collaborate with tax manager, to insure the data’s integrity
Maintain and create SQL Stored Procedures and Access modules/macros.
Participate in designing, coding, testing, integrating and documenting client upload procedures
Develop systems to convert client data from multiple billing systems.
Required Skills:
2 years experience working with SQL Server 2000 and Microsoft Access
Microsoft Office experience including Microsoft Access, Excel and Word
Proven ability to multi-task with strong attention to details.
Effective oral and written Communication skills
Familiarity with C#, HTML and Adobe PDFs a plus.
Team work
Reliable transportation/good attendance record
Independent decision making skills
Must adhere to deadlines.
