At AlternaDev, our mission is to deliver superior software and services that give tax departments the power to spend their time analyzing, not processing. AlternaDev started out in 1996 as a consulting company that provided customized data solutions to telecommunication companies. One of our initial customers was AT&T. Through the years of writing easy-to-use, efficient web applications, tax compliance was the one application that became the most commonly requested tool. AlternaDev now offers services to all industries: Telecommunications, Cable, Television, internet, retail, manufacturing, leasing, food and beverage, etc.

AlternaTax Software was launched in 2000, as the only 100% web-based tax compliance application. Companies now have the option to process their tax returns in the most efficient and cost effective manner. They are no longer restricted to the software vendor's submission process. AlternaTax gives the tax department the flexibility to complete the monthly chore quickly and thoroughly using their own policies and procedures.

AlternaDev Outsourced services allow companies the freedom of having their hands off of managing tax compliance. With our outsourced services, AlternaDev will manage, collect, prepare, print, review, file and send transactional tax returns to the taxing authorities.

Recent Projects

Custom tax credit process. Our team analyzed a client's manual tax credit process, then created a custom process to automatically capture monthly data, assign tax jurisdictions, and show data summaries for compliance review. The system reduced compliance costs by over $20,000, per month.

Compliance data true-up. When a customer was forced to use an estimate file for compliance due to a nonfunctioning billing system report, AlternaDev developed a custom solution to determine actual tax liabilities, creating a true up amount for each tax jurisdiction.
